ProtectionPLUS: Loss and Accidental Damage Insurance

Audigy Group has partnered with ESCO to offer you ProtectionPLUS, insurance coverage for your hearing system. When you enroll in this program you will be covered for:

  • Replacement of your hearing instruments if they are lost.
  • Repair or replacement if your hearing instruments are accidentally damaged.

Definitions, Terms and Limitations
Accidental damage means unintentional physical damage sustained by your instruments. Gradual deterioration, normal wear and tear, and electronic failure are not covered by this policy. Your manufacturer’s warranty may cover these occurrences. See your AudigyCertified™ practice for more information.

If we repair your instruments, coverage will continue uninterrupted.

If we replace your instruments, we will notify you concerning new coverage for your replaced instruments.

WarrantyPLUS: Extended Warranty Protection for Your Hearing System

Your personal hearing system was designed to give you years of trouble-free satisfaction. However, even well-designed products can fail. Although all manufacturers provide a limited repair warranty, who will you turn to when the warranty expires?

Protect your investment in your hearing system and in your hearing health with the Audigy Extended Repair Warranty.

  • One Year Coverage – $190 per hearing aid
  • Two Years Coverage – $240 per hearing aid

If your hearing aid is over 5 years old, you qualify for 1 year of coverage at $300 per hearing aid. If your hearing aid is over 6 years old, you do not qualify for coverage but Lafayette Hearing Center can assist with hearing aid repairs. If you did not purchase your hearing aid from Lafayette Hearing Center originally, you qualify for one year of hearing aid coverage at a time.

Coverage includes:

  • Batteries
  • Hearing tests
  • Loaner hearing aids while a hearing aid is being repaired – as appropriate and available
  • Cerumen management
  • Disposable parts including wax traps and domes
