ProtectionPLUS: Loss and Accidental Damage Insurance

Audigy Group has partnered with ESCO to offer you ProtectionPLUS, insurance coverage for your hearing system. When you enroll in this program you will be covered for:

  • Replacement of your hearing instruments if they are lost.
  • Repair or replacement if your hearing instruments are accidentally damaged.

Definitions, Terms and Limitations
Accidental damage means unintentional physical damage sustained by your instruments. Gradual deterioration, normal wear and tear, and electronic failure are not covered by this policy. Your manufacturer’s warranty may cover these occurrences. See your AudigyCertified™ practice for more information.

If we repair your instruments, coverage will continue uninterrupted.

If we replace your instruments, we will notify you concerning new coverage for your replaced instruments.

Extended Care Plan — for When Your Original Care Plan Expires

Your personal hearing system was designed to give you years of trouble-free satisfaction. However, even well-designed products can fail. Although all manufacturers provide a limited repair warranty, who will you turn to when the warranty expires?

Once the coverage with your original hearing aid warranty and care plan expires, we have an extended care plan that offers continued coverage for your technology and also for our professional services to keep you hearing your best. We even offer this coverage to people who purchased their hearing aids at another location. If you would like to talk to us about an extended care plan, do not hesitate to contact us! We have plans that cover devices through their sixth year from original date of purchase. Extended care plans include: replacement batteries (rechargeable or disposable), hearing evaluations, use of “loaner” hearing aids while your device is being repaired, use of a “loaner” charger if your charger needs to be repaired, cerumen management, disposable parts including wax traps and rubber “domes,” ANSI testing in a calibrated test chamber to make sure your devices are functioning within the manufacturer’s specifications, verification of your prescriptive fit of your hearing instruments in your own ear canal with your own hearing test results.
