Dr. Daniel Xia is a caring provider dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life through better hearing. He first developed a passion for audiology during his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He received his Doctor of Audiology from Nova Southeastern University.

Hands-on experience during internships and clinical rotations at an ear, nose, and throat practice as well as other settings further solidified Dr. Xia’s interest in hearing health care. Ask him, and he’ll share that seeing the joy and gratitude of patients when they experience enhanced communication and connection motivates him every day.

As part of the Lafayette Hearing Center team, Dr. Xia especially appreciates the collaborative environment, commitment to clinical excellence, and focus on patient-centered care. Outside the office, Dr. Xia enjoys spending quality time with family and pursuing hobbies such as tennis and movies. He also loves traveling, exploring destinations near and far.
