Emily Ponce-Alvarez joined Lafayette Hearing Center while pursuing her degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences at Purdue University and is a December 2026 graduate. Eager to learn more about the hearing healthcare field, she was drawn to the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting patients and the clinical team.

As an audiology assistant, Emily enjoys meeting members of the community, building connections, and helping create a positive experience for every patient who visits the office. She appreciates being part of a team that is passionate about improving lives through better hearing and compassionate care.

At Lafayette Hearing Center, Emily continues to expand her knowledge of audiology while contributing to the welcoming, community-focused environment that makes the practice special.
