Maggie Ziko, B.S.

Audiology Extern

Maggie Ziko is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and building meaningful, lasting relationships with those she serves. Her passion for hearing health began early, inspired by her mother’s 40-year career as a speech-language pathologist. Maggie’s first experience in audiology was at a small private practice in Connecticut, where she assisted with everything from organizing hearing aid and cochlear implant components to supporting pediatric evaluations.

Maggie earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont in 2022 and is completing her Doctor of Audiology at Purdue University, with expected graduation in May 2026. Maggie has completed clinical rotations in ENT clinics, private practice, and hospital settings, working with patients of all ages. She also served as an audiology assistant at the Eleanor M. Luse Center for Communication at the University of Vermont and as a clinical teaching assistant at Purdue University’s M.D. Steer Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic. It has been her honor to receive the Outstanding Student Clinician Award from the Indiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Susan and Bryan Erler Graduate Scholarship.

As part of the Lafayette Hearing Center team, Maggie values the supportive, community-focused environment shared by both patients and colleagues. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, baking, cheering on Purdue basketball at Mackey Arena, and spending time with her loved ones and two adorable cats.
